Friendly reminder from your neighborhood Pastor:
The God of infinite creativity, animator of the entire cosmos and all the incredible beauty and diversity within it, of the breathtaking gorgeous night sky and the unfathomably complex human brain and the sheer rhapsody of Bach and the human heart beat and the magic of particle physics and the science of sexuality…..and all the wonder and awe and mystery contained therein….. God intended to have You be part of that diverse and awesome creation, too.
Don’t forget that. You are loved, beloved. Loved beyond all knowing and being. Beyond time and space and any other dimension. Loved past infinite and through forever.
You are loved, beautiful. You are created from Love, bathed in it, sustained in it, and empowered by it.
Beloved. Beloved. You. Are. Beloved.
(and there’s nothing you could do to be un-beloved)
The God of Love designed you to be that instrument of Grace from which Love flows out. You can only do that when you love yourself. So love yourself unabashedly, unashamedly, and unendingly.
For if God sees fit to love me for who I am, then who am I to argue?
Even me. Even you. God intended for me and you to be here, too, alongside the vast and scintillating stars and the spectacular vitality of Life. That’s an encouraging thought.
Beloved. Beloved. You are beloved. Please don’t forget that.
